W.J. Ward had a personal vision when he established his Weston funeral home in 1914. He believed that families deserved funeral service choices that respect their values and honour the people they cherish.

That vision has been nourished over the years as the management of Ward Funeral Homes has been assumed by Mr. Ward’s son Bill, by his sons Jack and Alan, and today by their sons John and Cameron.
Four generations of family members have shared W.J. Ward’s original vision, passing it along to senior staff members at all Ward chapels. Today, his beliefs are embodied in the two cornerstones of the company: The first is compassionate, caring, personal service. The second is ensuring that each funeral reflects the ideals and personality of the person who has died.
